The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) plans to offer legal assistance to the family of a man identified by the initials KD, who died after being beaten by villagers in Bali. The incident occurred early Friday morning in Batunya Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency.

According to reports, villagers apprehended KD around 1:30 AM WITA, suspecting him of stealing a chicken. A mob then allegedly engaged in vigilantism, resulting in KD's death at the scene. Police arrived around 2:00 AM WITA to secure the area and collect evidence.

Investigators recovered a chicken, a machete believed to belong to KD, a bag containing pliers, a slingshot, stones, and cash from the scene. A motorcycle that was reportedly burned by the mob was also found. Bali Regional Police spokesperson Kombe.
