PDP urges Nigerians to embrace peace, justice, unity at Maulud

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on Nigerians to embody the principles of peace, justice, and unity, inspired by the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad. Maulud Nabi is a significant occasion for Muslims to reflect on the life, teachings and exemplary character of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), whose message of peace, justice, compassion, honesty and love for humanity continues to inspire generations.

The PDP stressed that the occasion of Maulud Nabi offers an opportunity for reflection on these timeless virtues. The party urged citizens to strengthen national unity and foster mutual respect, transcending religious, ethnic, or political differences. This appeal is particularly relevant given the persistent concerns over insecurity, political tensions, and social divisions plaguing the country.
