Peaceful Homeland Gala to be Held on Nguyen Hue Walking Street

A gala called "Tổ quốc bình yên" (Peaceful Homeland) will take place on Nguyễn Huệ Walking Street in Ho Chi Minh City from June 11 to 14. Organized by the Ministry of Public Security, the event aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' traditional day.

The opening ceremony on June 11 will be attended by approximately 200 delegates, including leaders from the Ministry of Public Security and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. The gala will be broadcast live on VTV, People's Public Security Television, and Ho Chi Minh City Television.

Alongside the gala, an exhibition titled "80 Years of People's Public Security - The Silent Shield" will run from June 11 to 14. This exhibition will showcase documents, images, and artifacts, enhanced by modern technology. It will be divided into five zones and eleven themes, depicting the security forces' journey of struggle and growth. Visitors can engage with five information stations featuring cybersecurity against scams, AI interactive games, UAV technology, smart cameras, and a digital museum. Other stations will highlight international contributions, legal frameworks, digital transformation in immigration with warnings about high-tech crime, and the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security's tradition of protecting lives.

Evening entertainment, including folk dance and band performances, will be offered on June 11 and 12. The program also includes visits and gift-giving to former leaders of the Party, State, and Ministry of Public Security residing in Ho Chi Minh City.
