Pegadaian and Sahabat Berbagi Tangsel Donate to Orphans and Needy

PT Pegadaian CPS Pondok Aren partnered with the social community Sahabat Berbagi Tangsel for a charitable event on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The initiative aimed to support orphans, the bereaved, and the underprivileged, aligning with the company's commitment to corporate social responsibility and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The event also marked the 6th anniversary of Sahabat Berbagi Tangsel, celebrated under the theme "Weaving Brotherhood, Spreading Goodness, Achieving Blessings."

Pegadaian distributed essential food packages in eco-friendly containers and provided cash donations. This effort seeks to alleviate the basic needs of dozens of beneficiaries and bring them happiness during the anniversary celebration. Cepi Kurnia Nugraha, Branch Manager of PT Pegadaian (Persero) CPS Pondok Aren, highlighted the collaboration as a strategic move to ensure aid reaches its intended recipients effectively and has a direct impact.

Nugraha stated that the partnership with Sahabat Berbagi Tangsel during their 6th anniversary was a strategic step to ensure aid was delivered precisely, with blessings, and had a direct impact. As a sustainable state-owned enterprise, Pegadaian continues to expand its community and environmental development programs, reaching grassroots levels. This active involvement in social activities proves that the company's business growth is always balanced with improving the social welfare of the community.

Maryono, Head of the Regional Office IX Jakarta 2 of PT Pegadaian (Persero), echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the integration of global sustainability values into regional corporate actions.
