Penang Police Seek Two Men in Separate Murder Investigations

Penang police are actively seeking two individuals to aid in their investigations into two distinct murder cases that occurred in the state over the past year. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Penang has identified the men as Hein Min Zaw, a Myanmar national holding passport MH120232, and a local man, Ong Wei Hao, aged 42.

Hein Min Zaw is wanted in connection with the murder of a 53-year-old Myanmar factory worker. The victim was discovered on April 5th in Lorong IKS Juru 5, Simpang Ampat, with stab wounds to his ribs. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. Police urge anyone with information on Min Zaw's whereabouts to contact investigation officer Assistant Superintendent (ASP) Muazzam Syaaban at 017-4825017.

Meanwhile, Ong Wei Hao is sought for his involvement in the death of Lee Boon Han, 31, whose body was found stuffed inside a suitcase near Flat Ampang Jajar, Permatang Pauh, on October 9th of last year. The victim's neck was injured, his hands were bound, and his head was covered with plastic. An autopsy confirmed the cause of death was suffocation. The Penang CID is appealing to the public for any information regarding Wei Hao's location, directing inquiries to investigation officer ASP Hasryman at 011-63319773. Immigration checks have revealed no record of Wei Hao leaving the country.
