People Power Party Ethics Officials Resign, Demand Chairman's Ouster

Two officials from the People Power Party's central ethics committee have resigned, calling for the joint resignation of Committee Chairman Yoon Min-woo. Deputy Chairman Woo Jong-hwan and committee member Hwang Kyung-sung announced their decision following a closed-door ethics committee meeting on August 7.

They criticized Yoon's disciplinary actions as a "dance of swords" favoring the party leadership, suggesting he was manipulating disciplinary proceedings for his own political advancement.
