'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' Season 3 to Premiere November 20, Promising Greatest Fidelity to Books

The highly anticipated third season of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" is set to premiere on Disney+ on November 20, promising to be the most faithful adaptation of Rick Riordan's beloved book series to date. The announcement was made during the opening day of San Diego Comic-Con, the world's largest comic and entertainment convention.

This upcoming season will adapt "The Titan's Curse," the third novel in the "Percy Jackson" saga. It will follow the adventures of Percy Jackson, played by Walker Scobell, alongside his friends Grover Underwood (Aryan Simhadri) and other demigods at Camp Half-Blood. Scobell, who portrays the 12-year-old son of Poseidon tasked with missions to prevent wars among the gods and defeat the titan king Cronos, acknowledged that this season will closely mirror its source material.

The second season concluded with the significant return of Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus, who is expected to play a crucial role in the upcoming narrative. The "Percy Jackson" series, based on Riordan's successful book franchise, reimagines ancient Greek mythology for a modern audience across five installments: "The Lightning Thief," "The Sea of Monsters," "The Titan's Curse," "The Battle of the Labyrinth," and "The Last Olympian."
