Perlis team AA Motorsports shines at Rally of Melaka 2026

The AA Motorsports Darsa Lube Rally Team from Perlis achieved a notable ninth-place finish overall at the Rally of Melaka 2026, held at Felda Tun Ghafar Machap. Competing in a Proton Satria, the team, represented by driver Azrul Azhar Norbakari and co-driver Muhammad Irfan Azman, also secured a commendable second place in the M4 category.

The rally, which featured 10 Special Stages covering 73.17 competitive kilometers, served as a platform for the team to promote Visit Perlis 2024/2026. The initiative received backing from the Perlis state government, highlighting the use of motorsports to introduce the state as a destination for tourism, sports, and recreation.

This achievement demonstrates the capability of teams from Perlis to compete at the national level, elevating the state's profile in motorsports. The team expressed gratitude to the Perlis state government, the State Secretary's Office, Visit Perlis, Darsa Lube, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim, LMC Racing, and MRF Tyres for their unwavering support.
