Personnel appointments announced for government ministries and KAIST

South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT has announced a series of personnel changes affecting its division-level leadership. Lee Kyung-rim has been appointed as the Head of International Cooperation, while Jung Yeon-woong takes on the role of Head of Planning and Finance. Lee Eun-ju is the new Head of the Research Budget Division.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups also implemented personnel adjustments, including a promotion for Yoo Je-hwan to lead the Small Business Growth Promotion division. Jang Se-hoon has been transferred to the Corporate Finance division, Cho Sung-woo to Venture Investment, and Kang Shin-cheon to Startup Policy. Lee Jun-hee will serve as the Head of Financial Operations.

In the realm of science and technology education, KAIST has appointed Kim Do-kyung as the principal of the Korea Science Academy of KAIST. Kim Myung-ju has been named the new auditor for KAIST.

Additionally, the Intellectual Property Office has made new appointments. Kang Yoon-seok will lead the Intellectual Property Transaction division, and Choi Jin-ho will head the Patent Dispute Response division.
