Pertamina lowers prices for non-subsidized fuels

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga announced a price adjustment for non-subsidized fuels, effective August 1, 2026. The price of Pertamax Turbo, Pertamax Green 95, and Pertamax (RON 92) will decrease.

According to VP Corporate Communication Kitty Andhora, these periodic changes are influenced by global oil price trends and the rupiah exchange rate. The adjustments are made in accordance with government regulations and consider public purchasing power. "This step is also part of efforts to maintain the availability of national fuel supply to ensure it remains guaranteed for the community," Kitty stated in an official release on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

The price of Pertamax Turbo has dropped by Rp 1,000 per liter, from Rp 19,300 to Rp 18,300. Pertamax Green 95 is now Rp 16,600 per liter, down from Rp 17,000, a reduction of Rp 400. Pertamax (RON 92) has decreased by Rp 300, now priced at Rp 15,950 per liter, down from Rp 16,250.

Meanwhile, the prices for Pertamina Dex and Dexlite remain unchanged at Rp 21,150 and Rp 19,700 per liter, respectively. These prices are applicable in regions with a 5% Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB), such as DKI Jakarta. Previously, Pertamina had increased prices for Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex starting April 18, 2026, followed by Pertamax Green 95 and Pertamax (RON 92) in June 2026, due to a surge in global oil prices amid Middle East tensions.
