Pertamina Patra Niaga Distributes Over 2,000 Sacrificial Animals for Eid al-Adha

In observance of Eid al-Adha 1447 H, Pertamina Patra Niaga has distributed 2,031 sacrificial animals, comprising 1,001 cows and 1,030 goats, to communities throughout Indonesia. This significant distribution effort underscores the company's commitment to social responsibility and community engagement during the Islamic festival.

The animals were distributed in areas surrounding Pertamina Patra Niaga's operational sites, spanning its headquarters, regional offices, fuel and LPG terminals, integrated terminals, aviation fuel terminals, and refineries. This widespread reach ensures that the benefits of the qurban (sacrificial offering) extend to various communities where the company operates.

Roberth M. V. Dumatubun, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, highlighted the importance of Eid al-Adha as a moment to cultivate sincerity, togetherness, and social care. "The momentum of Eid al-Adha teaches the importance of sharing and strengthening care for others," he stated. "Through this distribution of sacrificial animals, Pertamina Patra Niaga wants to continue to bring tangible benefits to the community and strengthen harmonious relations with the environment around the company's operational areas."

The distribution process, involving the Pertamina Patra Niaga Islamic Da'wah Body (BDI), was carried out in collaboration with local mosques, foundations, and social institutions. Meat from the animals was distributed in stages from May 27 to 29, 2026, to needy individuals and groups across different regions. Pertamina Patra Niaga expressed gratitude for being able to reach even remote and challenging areas, maximizing the impact of the initiative.
