Pertamina's Exhibition Support Boosts MSME Morale, Koffiku Says

Koffiku, a coffee micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) from Surabaya, reports that Pertamina's backing through various exhibitions has significantly energized business owners. This support helps businesses like Koffiku participate in promotional activities, such as the Pertamina SMEXPO Merah Putih 2026, without shouldering the entire exhibition cost themselves.

Ira Susanti, Koffiku's Export Marketing representative, highlighted that the cost of participating in exhibitions has been a major challenge for MSMEs. Pertamina's financial strength provides crucial assistance, enabling Koffiku to introduce its products and explore new market opportunities. "With the support from Pertamina, which has financial strength, we are greatly helped. Because usually, we have to pay for exhibitions ourselves, which is quite burdensome," Ira told Republika.

Koffiku has benefited from opportunities to join various events facilitated by Pertamina, both international and local. As one of Pertamina's supported coffee MSMEs, Koffiku participated in the annual Pertamina SMEXPO Merah Putih. For this Jakarta event, Koffiku received support for accommodation and transportation from Surabaya to the venue and back. "Exhibition entry was free, and we were also supported with accommodation because we are from far away, Surabaya. Susanti noted that such facilities allow MSME owners to concentrate on their activities at the exhibition. Koffiku could focus on bringing their products and maximizing opportunities for sales and visitor engagement. "All travel, land, sea, and air, was covered for round trips. That's what makes MSMEs more enthusiastic. We just need to fight and give our all on the ground," she said. The company reported sales of Rp2.55 million on the first day of the exhibition. Koffiku offers instant, sediment-free coffee in various black coffee variants (Robusta, Robusta Gourmet, Arabika, Arabika Gold, Blend) and latte flavors (Cappuccino, Vanilla Latte, Hazelnut, Almond, 2 in 1). They also have offline stores in Tangerang, Solo, and Surabaya, and market products via Tokopedia, Shopee, TikTok, and Instagram, employing around 20 people. Participation in Pertamina-facilitated events also opens doors to potential international buyers.
