Peru's National University of Engineering Begins 2026-II Admission Exam

The National University of Engineering (UNI) in Peru commenced its 2026-II admission exam on Monday, August 10, with 5,545 applicants vying for a spot. The rigorous selection process will span three days: August 10, 12, and 14, at the university's facilities.

Out of 7,142 initially pre-registered, 5,545 candidates completed the required payment for the prospectus, while 320 are participating as scholarship students. The applicant pool is diverse, with participants traveling from various regions across Peru, including Ayacucho, Junín, Áncash, Puno, Arequipa, and Tingo María.

The examination schedule is structured across the three days. The first day, August 10, covers Aptitude and Humanities. August 12 is dedicated to Mathematics, and the process concludes on August 14 with tests in Physics and Chemistry. Applicants are required to complete all three examination days to finalize their admission process.

UNI has implemented enhanced security measures, including a comprehensive camera monitoring system, to ensure the integrity and transparency of the admission process. This system will provide continuous surveillance and record any incidents throughout the examinations. The age range of participants spans from 16 to 48 years, with 15 individuals with disabilities and three foreign applicants also taking part.
