Despite the overall results, Dr. Maszlee Malik's victory in the Puteri Wangsa state constituency was seen as a positive development. Dr. Nadarajan noted this win demonstrates that the public still has confidence in PH's leadership and candidates' service records at the grassroots level. He congratulated Dr. Maszlee and expressed hope that the mandate would translate into effective service for Johor's residents and development.
