Phapros Strengthens CSR: From Healthcare Access to Environmental Conservation

PT Phapros Tbk is strengthening its commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles through expanded corporate social responsibility (TJSL) programs. These initiatives now encompass healthcare access, economic empowerment, and environmental conservation, targeting communities around the company's operational areas.

Phapros recently supported the "Bakti Indonesia: Gerakan Derma Sosial dalam Keberagaman Indonesia" event in Semarang, offering free general, dental, and eye examinations, as well as early detection for breast cancer. The company provided essential medicines and multivitamins for these services. Intan Abdams Katoppo, President Director of PT Phapros Tbk, stated that this support aligns with the company's social pillar of improving the health and quality of human resources in the surrounding areas. She highlighted the event's inclusivity, noting it was held at the historic Sam Poo Kong Temple, a site of cultural fusion and a meeting place for diverse communities.

Beyond healthcare, Phapros's TJSL programs cover four key areas: social, economic, environmental, and legal/governance. In environmental efforts, the company planted 1,030 mangrove seedlings and 130 sea pine trees in Semarang, supporting the "Mageri Segoro" program and biodiversity conservation through local plant cultivation. Economically, Phapros provided Rp4.19 billion in funding to 58 new micro and small business partners in 2025 and conducted eco-enzyme training for five UMK groups, transforming fruit and vegetable waste into products like cleaners and soaps.

The company also implemented the "Siger Wanita" program in Kudus since December 2025, focusing on anemia prevention education for adolescent girls. These diverse programs demonstrate Phapros's comprehensive ESG application, integrating social well-being, economic development, and environmental stewardship into its core operations.
