New Taipei City's Dahan River right bank is currently ablaze with the vibrant red blooms of phoenix trees, creating a breathtaking seasonal landscape between Xinhai Bridge and Dahan Bridge. This fiery spectacle, often called the "fire tree" or "flame tree," transforms the riverside into a scene reminiscent of a burning sea of flowers.

The office suggests enjoying the scenery by cycling or walking along the riverside bike path, which offers views of the river and the blooming trees. Visitors can rent bicycles near Huajiang Bridge and follow the path, passing by landmarks like Xinyue Bridge and Xinhai Wetland.

Phoenix trees, native to Madagascar, typically bloom from May to July. However, depending on weather and sunlight conditions, some trees can extend their flowering period into August and September. Their bright red flowers, resembling flames or a phoenix in flight, add a striking and passionate splash of color to the riverside.

Alternatively, public transport options include buses 310, 307, 810, 857, or 786, alighting at "Banqiao Junior High School, Banqiao 435 Art Zone." From there, it's a short walk to Xinyue Bridge and then about 1 kilometer along the riverside path.
