Phones thrown over Marijampolė prison wall

Three mobile phones ended up inside Marijampolė Prison after an unidentified person threw a package over the facility’s wall.

Prison officers discovered the package on the roof of a building in the prison’s industrial area on the evening of Sept. 1. It contained two Samsung phones and one Huawei phone.

Initial information indicates that the person crossed Stoties Street near the prison security post, ran to the wall and threw the package into the prison grounds. The person then left the scene. Officials are clarifying the circumstances.
