Photos: Wike holidays after 30 days of commissioning projects

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Nigeria, has embarked on a vacation following an intensive period of work. For more than 30 consecutive days, Wike dedicated himself to commissioning completed projects, initiating new ones, and overseeing ongoing infrastructure development across the FCT.

His Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, announced Wike's break on X, noting the minister's rigorous schedule. Olayinka highlighted that Wike's focus during this period included projects slated for commissioning in December and January.

Wike, who previously served as the governor of Rivers State, was appointed to his current ministerial role by President Bola Tinubu in August 2023. His recent activities underscore a proactive approach to governance and infrastructure development within the FCT.
