Pigu.lt joins Kaunas Žalgiris as new partner

Pigu.lt is joining the partner community of Kaunas Žalgiris, bringing one of Lithuania’s best-known e-commerce brands into a new relationship with the basketball club.

The Pigu.lt logo will soon appear on Žalgiris players’ jerseys. The partners also plan joint initiatives for fans and shoppers, including a campaign called "Attend a game, get Pigu.lt points" that will offer basketball supporters special benefits.

Pigu.lt will also use images of Žalgiris players in its communications, giving the partnership a larger presence beyond the team’s uniforms. Pigu.lt chief executive Dainius Liulys said the company was proud to support the growth of basketball in Lithuania, where the sport is "more than a game."

Žalgiris president Paulius Jankūnas said the arrival of a major, widely recognized partner confirmed the club’s appeal to the business community. Pigu.lt is part of PHH Group, formed after its merger with Finland’s Hobby Hall. The group operates online shopping platforms across Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland.
