Pilot sued by Luis Miguel denies speaking ill of singer

Pilot Raúl Aldana finds himself in a legal dispute with the legal team of Mexican superstar Luis Miguel, who has filed a lawsuit for alleged moral damages. The case stems from Aldana's public statements claiming that the singer, known as "El Sol de México," owes him and the airline he worked for payment for flight hours.

Aldana, also known as "The Pilot of the Stars," asserts that he has grounds to contest the lawsuit. He explained that he never spoke negatively about the singer, "Micky." Instead, he claims he merely pointed out the outstanding payment for 33 flight hours accumulated during one of Luis Miguel's past tours. "My lawyers have already checked it, there is no moral damage in any of the situations. I, simply, all the time pointed out that there were a certain number of flight hours that were owed, period," Aldana stated.

He suggested that media interpretations might have distorted his words, leading to the current legal entanglement. "Sometimes, the media takes some information and it starts to get distorted; I have never really spoken ill of Mr. Luis Miguel, I just did my job," he added.

While dismissing the idea of a countersuit against Luis Miguel, Aldana revealed his intention to pursue legal action against Grupo Lauman, the company he worked for while flying Luis Miguel and other prominent figures. Aldana alleges that Grupo Lauman promised him a commission for facilitating the payment of outstanding hours from another client, similar to the situation with Luis Miguel's debt.
