Pingtung Offers 'Buy One, Get Two' Deals with Receipt Lottery for Souvenirs

Pingtung County is rolling out an enticing tourism promotion designed to boost local businesses and attract visitors with a "buy-one-get-two" offer.

The initiative, spearheaded by the Pingtung County Government and the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration, allows tourists to participate in multiple prize draws by simply registering their spending receipts. This campaign essentially offers a dual benefit: visitors can enter the county's existing car giveaway promotion with accommodation receipts and simultaneously join the Dapeng Bay Administration's lucky draw for local souvenirs.

Visitors can register their receipts, transportation tickets, or entrance tickets online to participate in the lucky draw. The earlier you consume, the higher your chance of winning.

The "Play Well in Pingtung" campaign encourages visitors to spend at designated merchants, use specific transportation services, or purchase tickets to participating attractions. Eligible receipts can be registered online via a QR code provided by the "Pingtung Tourism Circle." The promotion runs from August until November 30th.

Monthly draws will be held on the first week of each month from August to December. Prizes include three high-quality accommodation vouchers and ten selected local souvenir packages each month. To increase their chances of winning, participants are advised to register earlier and make more purchases. The administration hopes this campaign will stimulate Pingtung's local economy and provide tourists with a memorable experience showcasing the region's charm and hospitality.
