'Pirulo' Detained Provisionally in Panama Femicide Case

A man identified by the alias 'Pirulo' has been placed in provisional detention in Panama's San Miguelito region as authorities investigate a femicide case. The Public Prosecutor's Office stated that 'Pirulo' is the fourth individual allegedly linked to the violent incident that occurred on the morning of June 7, 2026, in the Patio Limoso sector.

According to the investigation, 'Pirulo' and three other men, who are already in provisional detention, arrived at the scene and opened fire on the victims. The attack, reportedly motivated by revenge, specifically targeted women, exploiting their vulnerability. The assault resulted in the death of one woman and injuries to another.
