Pitbull show sets record for bald cap gathering

Pitbull fans braved London's heatwave to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps. More than 22,000 fans donned the caps ahead of the Latin hip hop artist's headline set at Hyde Park.

The sell-out concert also became the annual gig's highest attended, drawing a crowd of 69,999. Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, expressed his excitement, stating, "Record breaking, record making, history in the making. Thank you London, thank you to the fans, thank you Hyde Park, thank you to the Bald-es."

The record was established as Pitbull became the first person to attempt the feat under official adjudication. His fans, known as "Bald-es," participated enthusiastically, with many sporting the singer's signature black aviator glasses and stick-on goatees. This event builds on a recent viral trend where fans attend Pitbull's concerts dressed as him.

Supermarket chain Aldi even temporarily rebranded itself as "Baldi" and supplied 300 caps to fans outside the venue. Pitbull, originally from Miami, is known for hits like "Fireball," "Timber," and "Give Me Everything."
