PKS Faction of Jakarta DPRD Holds Technical Seminar on Supervision and Advocacy

The PKS Faction of the DKI Jakarta Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) convened a technical guidance seminar (bimtek) at the Aston Sentul Lake Hotel in Bogor, West Java. The event, held from Thursday, July 30, to Saturday, August 1, 2026, aimed to enhance the faction's capabilities and effectiveness.

Muhammad Taufik Zoelkifli, the Chairman of the PKS Faction in the DKI Jakarta DPRD and also the Chairman of MPW PKS DKI Jakarta, addressed the participants. He outlined three core themes for the seminar: strengthening supervision, sharpening advocacy skills, and maintaining closeness with the community. Zoelkifli stressed that these aspects are continuously demanded by constituents and are crucial for the faction's representation.

According to Zoelkifli, this bimtek is essential for council members to receive direction and acquire additional knowledge on how to project a strong faction. He stated that the objective is to better equip PKS faction members for advocating on behalf of citizens, absorbing their aspirations, and seeing these issues through to resolution. The seminar was organized in collaboration with Universitas Djuanda (Unida) Bogor.

Five main topics were covered during the seminar. These included an in-depth examination of Law No. 1 of 2022 concerning Financial Relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments, presented by staff from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Rector of Universitas Djuanda. Additionally, Muhammad Iqbal led a session on Political Communication and Personal Branding for DKI Jakarta DPRD members. The event was attended by key figures within the PKS Faction, including the Speaker of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Suhud Alynudin, and other faction leaders and members.
