Ms. Patience Sharon Adams Mensah, Public Relations Officer for the National Sports Authority (NSA) in the Ashanti Region, disclosed that the project's momentum hinges on the release of essential funding. Management is awaiting this critical financial injection to kickstart the necessary renovations and improvements.

This initiative reflects a commitment to restoring the stadium's status as a premier venue for continental and international sporting events. The successful refurbishment would not only enhance Ghana's sporting infrastructure but also boost its capacity to host major competitions, further solidifying its reputation in African football.
