Plateau commissioner urges APC members to reject anti-party activities

Plateau State Commissioner for Transportation Davou Jatau has warned APC members against working against their own party as the 2027 general elections approach.

Jatau spoke on Monday during a familiarisation visit to APC wards and districts in Jos South Local Government Area. He urged party members to support the policies and programmes of the federal and state governments, pointing to what he described as visible achievements by President Bola Tinubu and Governor Caleb Mutfwang.

With the campaign yet to begin, Jatau said the party’s immediate task was to strengthen its presence in the wards and districts. “Our strength lies in our unity,” he said, urging voters to support every APC candidate from the top of the ticket to the bottom. Stakeholders at the meeting pledged to reconcile aggrieved members and launch an aggressive membership drive across Jos South.
