Plateau killings: Four suspects remanded in DSS custody

A Plateau State High Court has ordered the remand of four suspects in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) in connection with the brutal killings that occurred in Angwa Rukuba Community, Jos North Local Government Area, in March. The court's decision to remand the individuals, including Isa Umar Ibrahim, Auwalu Abubakar, and Musa Abubakar Ibrahim, comes as the legal process begins to address the violence that claimed at least 30 lives.

These charges stem from the alleged planning, organization, and facilitation of the attack that led to the deaths of numerous people, including children, in communities across Bokkos and Bassa Local Government Areas.

President Bola Tinubu also visited the state, offering assurances of justice and urging residents to remain vigilant. The ongoing legal proceedings and the governor's strong stance reflect a determination to confront the perpetrators and restore peace, though the adjournment due to procedural matters indicates the complexities of achieving swift justice in such sensitive cases.
