PlayStation Plus: Free games for June and new subscription prices revealed

PlayStation has unveiled the lineup of free games for its PlayStation Plus subscribers for June, offering a diverse selection of titles for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners. The monthly offering aims to provide value and engagement for the service's user base.

The featured games include "The Smurfs 2: The Prisoner of the Green Stone," an adventure game for PS4 and PS5 inspired by the 1980s film "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids." Players will navigate a garden filled with dangerous creatures, gathering resources and crafting weapons to survive and return to normal size while exploring laboratories. This title offers a single-player story mode where users must defeat the villainous Vlad Plasmius.

"Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2" brings together popular characters from Nickelodeon shows, allowing players to step into the shoes of icons like SpongeBob SquarePants, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Jimmy Neutron, Aang, and Garfield in a fighting game format. The standard edition of this game is priced at 867 Mexican pesos.

Rounding out the free offerings is "Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun," a cooperative action game. Players assume the role of a prisoner recruited by the Inquisition to reclaim the city of Tertium from various enemy hordes, including cultists, mutants, and Chaos demons. The game emphasizes brutal gunfights and intense melee combat, supporting up to four players who can choose unique characters and abilities from "The Rejects."

All three games will be available for download from Tuesday, June 2, until Monday, July 6. Subscribers must maintain an active PlayStation Plus membership to retain access to these titles; losing membership will block access until the subscription is reactivated. Additionally, EA Sports FC 2026 will continue to be available for free until June 16, as part of the celebration for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
