PLN offers 50% discount on electricity power upgrades until July 27, 2026

PT PLN (Persero) has launched a special promotion, "Semangat Baru Makin Berdaya," offering a 50% discount on electricity power upgrades. This program aims to ease the financial burden on households as they prepare for the new academic year and enhance customer convenience.

The promotion is valid from July 14 to July 27, 2026. It applies to all single-phase low-voltage customers whose initial power capacity ranges from 450 to 5,500 volt-amperes (VA) and who wish to increase their capacity up to 7,700 VA.

According to PLN's Director of Retail and Commerce, M. Fahrur Rozy, the program is designed to help the public access power upgrade services at a lower cost. This is intended to support children's study activities and other productive home-based tasks.

Customers can benefit from this 50% discount by making at least one purchase of electricity tokens for prepaid meters or paying their electricity bill for postpaid meters through the PLN Mobile application within the specified period. After a successful transaction, customers will receive an e-voucher via the "Reward" feature in the PLN Mobile app or through their registered email. This e-voucher can then be used when applying for a power upgrade via the PLN Mobile application.
