PLN offers special prices for electric vehicle home chargers at GIIAS 2026

PT PLN (Persero) is actively strengthening Indonesia's electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem by enhancing its charging infrastructure. At the upcoming GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, PLN will offer a special promotional price for its Home Charging Services (HCS) Ultima, designed as a comprehensive solution for EV charging at home.

M. Fahrur Rozy, Director of Retail and Commerce at PLN, highlighted the convenience of the HCS Ultima service. It streamlines the entire process for EV owners, from application and installation of the home charger to any necessary power upgrades or new connections. All these steps can be managed through a single application via the PLN Mobile app.

"We are offering a Special Price Promo for HCS Ultima, starting from Rp12 million," Rozy announced. "Customers simply need to apply through PLN Mobile, and all installation and activation processes are handled quickly. Customers will receive a fully installed home charger."

Beyond the special pricing, customers who sign up for HCS Ultima at the PLN booth during GIIAS 2026 are eligible for additional benefits. These include cashback vouchers for electricity worth up to Rp1.3 million and a 30% discount on charging rates between 10 PM and 5 AM, valid until December 31, 2026.

The HCS Ultima package includes a home charger that meets PLN's platform compatibility tests and Indonesian National Standards (SNI). It also supports advanced technologies like Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), RFID, and Wi-Fi. The service encompasses all necessary installation materials compliant with PLN standards, such as cables, MCBs, grounding, and other support equipment. Installation is carried out by certified official partners, including delivery and system activation on the PLN Mobile application.

Rozy added that PLN's presence at GIIAS 2026 underscores its commitment to expanding public access to reliable, convenient, and integrated EV charging solutions. This initiative aligns with PLN's broader strategy to accelerate EV adoption and foster a sustainable energy transition ecosystem in Indonesia.
