Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, PN's Chairman and Leader of the Opposition, articulated this vision through a Facebook post. He emphasized the importance of managing the nation's diversity with wisdom, celebrating the unique aspects of its multi-ethnic society not as a burden, but as a source of strength. Mokhtar expressed hope for the formation of a people's unification movement. This initiative aims to restore national harmony and eradicate prejudiced sentiments among different communities. He envisions this movement originating from Terengganu, acting as a catalyst to unite hearts, extinguish the flames of prejudice, and rebuild a nation that is harmonious, peaceful, and respected globally.
