PNJ University Explains Incident of Two Men Kissing on Campus

An incident involving two men kissing on the campus of Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ) in Depok, West Java, has been captured in a video circulating widely on social media.

The university has confirmed that the event, which allegedly violates campus regulations, took place in the library building on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. The individuals involved were identified as one active PNJ student and one external party.

Upon learning of the incident, campus security and student representatives took immediate action according to established procedures. The involved individuals were subsequently questioned, with the Vice Director I for Academic Affairs and relevant officials present during the initial clarification process.

PNJ also communicated with the student's family on the same day. Following the preliminary clarification, both individuals were escorted off campus by security personnel. The university stated that the campus environment is currently safe, orderly, and conducive.
