Tensions within Romania's National Liberal Party (PNL) are escalating as Alin Tișe, the President of the Cluj County Council, announced the formation of a Liberal-Conservative Platform within the party. Tișe, a vocal critic of interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and the party leadership, is rallying members who he believes still adhere to the traditional values of liberalism.

In a public Facebook post, Tișe expressed his disillusionment with the current PNL leaders, whom he accuses of paralyzing the party with internal disputes while Romania faces significant challenges. He lamented being labeled a traitor, a socialist, a user, and even a member of the far-right AUR, asserting that prioritizing Romania's interests over party politics should not be considered betrayal.

Tișe highlighted the severe economic consequences of the ongoing political deadlock, criticizing Bolojan and his inner circle for focusing on power struggles instead of seeking solutions. He warned that the irresponsibility of decision-makers will have dire repercussions for Romanians, with the state paralyzed, the economy suffering, and private businesses facing bankruptcy.
