Pogačar's Hometown Gears Up for Grand Tour de France Victory Celebration

Tadej Pogačar's hometown of Komenda is preparing for an extraordinary celebration of his fifth Tour de France victory, transforming into a global cycling center for three days. The event promises a taste of the Champs-Élysées under the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, honoring the world's top cyclist while raising funds for good causes.

This year's festivities merge the Tadej Pogačar criterium and the Pogi Challenge, previously separate events. Organized by Extrem agency and Pogi Team, the combined cycling festival begins with the 8th Tadej Pogačar criterium. Younger cyclists will compete first, followed by the main elite race at 7:30 PM.
