Pokemon to Release 30th Anniversary Booster Pack in September 2026

The Pokemon Company is set to launch a special "30th Celebration" booster pack on September 16, 2026. This release commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Pokemon Collectible Card Game, which first debuted in 1996.

The "30th Celebration" pack is part of the Mega Evolution series and will feature specially designed hologram cards. These cards aim to honor three decades of the popular collectible card game. The product will be available globally, though availability may vary by region due to logistical and time zone differences.

A key highlight of the booster pack is the inclusion of FUR (Futuristic Rare) cards. These cards showcase unique illustrations by Japanese graphic designer Yoshirotten, created specifically for the 30th anniversary. Additionally, the pack will contain 30 different hologram cards, each depicting Pikachu and designed by 30 distinct illustrators. Every pack is guaranteed to include one of these special Pikachu cards.

Furthermore, the collection will present a selection of 30 cards that trace the 30-year history of the Pokemon Collectible Card Game. These cards will feature characters and card pairs that have appeared across various series, including the original Charizard from the early Pokémon Card Game and the Pikachu & Zekrom GX from the Pokémon Sun & Moon Collectible Card Game.
