Poland's Finance Minister to Open Economic Forum on New Global Order

The Rzeczpospolita Economic Forum will open with a discussion on the changing global economic landscape and Poland's place within it. Finance and Economy Minister Andrzej Domański will participate in the inaugural session, titled "The World Divided Anew. Will Europe and Poland Play for the Highest Stakes?"

The debate will feature leaders from major Polish companies and financial institutions, including Szymon Midera (PKO BP), Anna Rulkiewicz (LuxMed), Remigiusz Paszkiewicz (KGHM), Katarzyna Rozenfeld (PGE), Władysław Grochowski (Arche), and Mirosław Czekaj (BGK). They will discuss the growing influence of geopolitics on investment, corporate strategies, energy security, and access to technology and capital. The focus will shift from cost efficiency to economic resilience and supply chain security as key priorities for nations and businesses.

A central theme will be the future of globalization and whether Europe can foster competitiveness without excessive regulation and costs.
