Police arrest eight Palestinian West Bank residents illegally residing in Beersheba apartment

Beersheba police apprehended eight Palestinian residents from the West Bank who were discovered living illegally in an apartment within the city. The discovery occurred during a police enforcement operation last week.

Following the operation, Southern District Police Commander Haim Bublil issued an administrative order to close the apartment for 30 days. The eight individuals were found to be staying in Israel without the necessary permits and were taken to the Beersheba police station for questioning.

This incident follows another case earlier this month where five Palestinian residents were found without permits inside a vehicle stopped for inspection at the Tarkumiya Crossing. Police arrested the driver, a resident of Petah Tikva, on suspicion of transporting them, and the five individuals were also taken in for questioning.
