Police foil kidnap, cattle rustling attempts, rescue victim in Katsina, Nigeria

Authorities in Katsina State, Nigeria, have successfully thwarted multiple criminal activities, including kidnapping and cattle rustling, in separate operations. The Police Command announced the rescue of one kidnapped victim and the recovery of 15 rustled cows across Funtua and Musawa Local Government Areas.

A similar incident occurred in Musawa LGA on July 17, where bandits raided Kuru Village and stole cattle. The Divisional Police Officer of Musawa, working with the Katsina State Community Watch Corps, pursued the suspects. The criminals abandoned eight cows and escaped into a nearby bush after engaging the security team.
