Police hunt man accused of severely beating woman in Bandung

West Java Regional Police are actively hunting for a man identified by the initials TH, who is accused of brutally assaulting a 29-year-old woman, YTT, in Bandung Regency. The victim was discovered with severe injuries, leaving her with difficulty seeing and speaking. Authorities have made attempts to apprehend the suspect, but he has managed to evade capture on several occasions.

The case came to light after the victim's sister reported her sister missing for three years. She received an anonymous WhatsApp message informing her that YTT was in the emergency room at Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung. Upon arrival, the sister found YTT suffering from severe injuries to her head, face, and legs, along with minor injuries to her hands. The victim is believed to have been kidnapped and assaulted by TH, her former partner.
