Police launch search for suspects after stone hits car on A67

A 46-year-old driver escaped injury after a suspected stone hit her car’s windshield on the A67 in southern Hesse.

The woman was driving near Nauheim toward Darmstadt at midday when she passed beneath a bridge. She told police that she had seen two boys, each about 10 years old, on bicycles on the bridge before hearing a loud bang.

Police said the windshield was probably damaged by a stone. Officers immediately launched a search, but it had not produced results. They are seeking witnesses who saw anything at the bridge over the A67 between the Rüsselsheim interchange and the Groß-Gerau exit.
