Police Officer Accused of Assaulting Student in Front of Classmates in San Martín de Porres School

A police officer in Peru is facing accusations of assaulting a high school student in front of her classmates at the 3032 Villa Angélica educational institution in San Martín de Porres. Parents have come forward to denounce the alleged aggression by officer Anahí Ramos Ramírez, who reportedly entered a classroom on June 9th and behaved aggressively. According to reports, the officer ordered students to stand facing the blackboard with their hands raised. When a student protested the harsh treatment, the officer allegedly grabbed her by the neck. The victim stated that the officer held her for up to two minutes, intensifying her grip despite the student mentioning she had asthma and difficulty breathing. The incident reportedly continued despite the presence of teachers. The student was later taken to the principal's office with her hands restrained behind her back, as if she were a criminal. Her mother attempted to file a report at the local police station, but claims another officer tried to dissuade her from pursuing a formal complaint. The family is demanding a full investigation into the officer's conduct.
