Police Raid Illegal Pharmaceutical Warehouse in Cirebon

In a significant operation against the illicit drug trade, Cirebon Police have successfully raided a clandestine warehouse used for storing and distributing illegal pharmaceutical products. The raid, a joint effort between the Palangkaraya Customs office and the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM), resulted in the apprehension of a 29-year-old man identified by the initials RA, also known as OKI. Authorities seized a substantial quantity of unregistered and dangerous hard drugs, including 3,300 Tramadol pills and 3,950 Trihexyphenidyl pills, along with cash suspected to be from illegal transactions and the mobile phone used for communication. The operation highlights the persistent challenge of illegal drug distribution in Indonesia and the authorities' commitment to eradicating it. Kapolresta Cirebon, Kombes Pol Imara Utama, emphasized the police's zero-tolerance policy towards drug traffickers who endanger the younger generation.
