Police receive four reports and ask man accused of provoking National Day incident to give statement

Putrajaya police have asked a man suspected of provoking a pushing incident during National Day celebrations to come forward for questioning.

Assistant Commissioner Aidi Sham Mohamed, the Putrajaya district police chief, said police had received four reports linked to the alleged provocation at Dataran Putrajaya.

The incident was believed to have occurred at about 5 a.m. during the celebrations. Police are seeking the man's statement to assist their investigation.
