Police seek clues in overnight disappearance of Markham woman

Police in Markham, Ontario, are urgently seeking public assistance to locate a 28-year-old woman who vanished from her home overnight.

Andrella was last seen by her family between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. at her residence near Highway 7 East and Birchmount Avenue. Authorities have not yet determined what she was wearing or where she might have gone.

He added that the search area is challenging due to numerous multi-story buildings and green spaces, requiring a substantial deployment of officers and resources.

This area is quite difficult for our officers to search.

Investigators are particularly keen to find any video footage of Andrella since her departure, which could provide a more recent location or a clearer description of her attire. The K9 unit has not yet been deployed as there is no specific trail to follow. Andrella is described as five-feet, eight-inches tall, with shoulder-length black hair and a red complexion. She may be wearing a hijab and dark glasses.
