Police seek hit-and-run driver after A6 crash

After an accident with three lightly injured people on the A6 autobahn in the Saarpfalz district, the police are looking for the fleeing perpetrator.

According to police reports, the driver of a white car with a Saarbrucken license plate aggressively overtook multiple vehicles on the right shoulder before abruptly braking. This maneuver caused a chain reaction, resulting in a collision that left three people with minor injuries and significant property damage.

A driver had overtaken several vehicles on the right between the St. Ingbert-Rohrbach exit and the Neunkirchen interchange and then braked other road users.

Authorities are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. The police are investigating the incident as endangerment of road traffic and a hit-and-run offense. The suspect's vehicle is described as white, possibly with a Saarbrucken district license plate.
