Politician Ümit Dikbayır denies joining AKP amid rumors

Sakarya Member of Parliament Ümit Dikbayır has addressed speculation about his potential move to the ruling AKP party. Dikbayır, who has had a notable political journey, having resigned from the İYİ Party to join the CHP, and subsequently leaving the CHP, issued a statement on his social media account.

In his statement, Dikbayır reflected on the "dirty information" and "false news, comments, rumors, and posts" circulating about him. He expressed that he has followed these with great patience, acknowledging that such tactics are common in the "dirty political arena." However, he emphasized that these experiences offer valuable lessons, helping to distinguish between genuine allies and hypocrites. Dikbayır affirmed his commitment to continue speaking and acting according to his beliefs, leaving the rest to divine will.

Adding further clarity to the situation, journalist İsmail Saymaz reported speaking directly with Dikbayır. According to Saymaz's social media post, Dikbayır explicitly stated that he would not be joining the AKP, thereby quashing the rumors.
