Poll: Majority of Poles view Zelenskyy's attitude toward Poland negatively

A recent poll reveals a predominantly negative perception among Poles regarding Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's stance towards Poland. The survey found that 58.3% of respondents hold a negative view, with 33.7% describing his attitude as "rather negative" and 24.6% as "decidedly negative."

Opinions are more divided among voters supporting Poland's current ruling coalition. Within this group, 41% believe Zelenskyy has a positive attitude toward Poland, while 39% perceive it negatively. The remaining 19% of government coalition voters expressed no opinion or found it difficult to say.

In stark contrast, opposition voters exhibit a significantly more critical outlook. A substantial 83% of this group views Zelenskyy's attitude toward Poland negatively, including 50% who described it as "decidedly negative" and 33% as "rather negative." Only 17% of opposition voters expressed a positive view.

Further analysis showed that voters of the Konfederacja and KKP parties were the most critical, with 88% holding a negative view of Zelenskyy's attitude toward Poland. Among non-voters and undecided respondents, 46% believed Zelenskyy's current stance is unfavorable towards Poland, while 35% thought it remained positive.

The United Surveys by IBRiS poll for Wirtualna Polska was conducted between June 12-14, 2026, surveying 1000 individuals across Poland using both online and telephone methods. The maximum margin of error is 3% with a 95% confidence level.
