Faced with understandable migratory aspirations, which may lead you to believe that you can more easily find a better future elsewhere, I call upon you, above all, to respond with a burning desire to serve your homeland. Put the knowledge you gain here to the benefit of your fellow citizens. This is the meaning of your university, founded thirty-five years ago to train pastors and committed laypeople: they are witnesses of wisdom and justice, which the African continent needs.
