POWA National President Bags Traditional Title from Minna Emirate

Chief Mrs. Mutiat Olufunmilola Disu, National President of the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA), has been bestowed with the traditional title of Jauharar Minna Emirate. The prestigious honor was conferred by the Emir of Minna in recognition of her extensive humanitarian service and dedication to the welfare of police officers' families across Nigeria. The ceremony took place during a courtesy visit to the Emir's palace on Saturday, July 25, 2026. The traditional institution acknowledged Mrs. Disu's outstanding contributions to improving the lives of police families through various welfare programs implemented under her leadership at POWA. The Emirate specifically commended her compassion, visionary leadership, and commitment to empowering women, supporting widows, promoting healthcare, expanding educational opportunities, and enhancing the overall well-being of police families.
