Prabowo to Attend National Farmers and Fishermen Week in Gorontalo

President Prabowo Subianto is set to attend the National Farmers and Fishermen Week (Penas) XVII in Gorontalo on June 24, 2026. His journey began Wednesday morning from Jakarta, traveling with a select group of aides.

Among those accompanying the President were Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, and Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya. Upon arrival in Gorontalo, Prabowo will proceed directly to the Sport Center Limboto, the venue for the event.

The Penas XVII activities are designed to facilitate the exchange of agricultural innovations and technologies. They will also include dialogues with policymakers and efforts to strengthen business partnerships, all aimed at boosting national food productivity and self-sufficiency.

This trip follows Prabowo's recent domestic engagements in East Java on Tuesday, where he inaugurated 1,151 kilometers of regional roads across 37 provinces, with a symbolic ceremony in Sampang. He also attended the closing of the National Deliberation of Ulama and the Grand Conference of Nahdlatul Ulama in Bangkalan.
